During the construction of Edgar’s last aparthotel Suites in a 1940s building in the 16th arrondissement, Studio NOCC has breathed a modernist spirit into the 4 apartments that compose it.
In its desire to redefine the concept of hotel residences, the studio reinterpreted the codes of modernist housing to meet the convenience needs of contemporary hotel service.
At a time when aparthotels offer traditional accommodation as a hotel product, NOCC has chosen to favor a functional design like a hotel room while offering the markers of home comfort.
This experience is expressed by the system of blocks of colors designing the different spaces and functions, from furniture to robust design and maximum optimization of surfaces and volumes. Colors, framesets and graphics increase the sensations of volumes and spaces while displaying a dynamic and joyful atmosphere.
